We are extremely sad to announce that our loving president has died. Michael fought cancer like a true Marine for the past three years, our loving president is in a much higher place. His leadership, wisdom, compassion, and most importantly his integrity will be missed. Michael always had a smile and always looked for the good in everyone he came across. We know that many will be saddened by this message. Michael is no longer alive, but he will always be with us. Coach Rodriguez was quoted, "Coaching the game of soccer is the fun part. However, building a product that people in the community will believe in, is what Michael was doing for us and we will not let him down".
Soccer is all about family, especially here at Invictus. Michael, was not only our club president, but a father to Coach Kim, Father-in-law to Coach Stephan, and grandfather to Coach JP.

Coach Rodriguez has 45 years of soccer experience, both as a player and Head Men's and Women's soccer coach at the collegiate level. Established in 2015 with one goal in mind, to groom our players to reach their full soccer ability, in order prepare them for collegiate soccer. Our coaching staff are well educated in the most popular sport in the world. We have coaches that have played D-I and D-II and others that are High School coaches presently.
We do not pretend to know everything about soccer. However, we truly believe that the past thirty years of coaching has given Invictus SC the knowledge to help build better soccer players, but more importantly how to prepare your child for college soccer and college life. We like to put our players in situational positions, on and off the field. Our coaches insist that they make decisions on their own. It is our jobs as coaches to analyze their results and provide feedback "both negative and positive" and try to assist them in learning from their experiences. By doing this we are hoping that in the future, they will make the best decision available to them. When our players leave, we know they will be accountable for their actions and decisions they make.
Lastly, Invictus SC also exists to provide and lead each one of our players to a personal relationship with Christ, spiritually and to become strong Christians. It is also an opportunity to know what "I AM" really stands for and allowing it to be part of their lives.
